What is a resume?


A resume is a presentation card that contains a listing of your skills, education, and job experience. Itīs format changes depending on your profile and the companyīs requirements.

Itīs main purpose is to help you get to an interview in which further, more precise information can be handled, and therefore, it has to be attractive to the eye of the employer/interviewer. The best way to prepare one is by understanding your own background, interests and how they meet the needs of the position you are applying for.

Though its format may change depending on the occasion it is a general fact that a resume should never have more than 3 pages, being 2 the average.
